Huron’s Choral Director and Music Department Chair, Dr. Richard  Ingram, has been named the Michigan School Vocal Music Association’s  2007 Teacher of the Year. 

He has been teaching in Ann Arbor for 32  years and is the first Ann Arbor choral director to receive the  award. In addition, he was recently featured in Choral Director  Magazine in an article honoring “Choral Directors of Note,” in which 18  choral directors from across the country were recognized.
