Huron Students Won Seven of the Top Ten Science Awards-2009 |
Huron students won seven of the top ten awards and 47 out of 67 total awards at the Southeastern Michigan Science fair held over the weekend at Washtenaw Community College. .
The following students won science fair awards: Pelham Barron, Omar Beleh, Annie-Norah Beveridge, Elinor Chambers, Krishna Chokkaram, Danny Clegg, Leela Denver, Karen Dowling, Andrew Gadway, Elizabeth Gelb, Eric Giuffrida, Alexandra Glover, Supreet Grewal, Jake Johengen, Sunjay Josyula, Laura Knutilla, Beixi Li, Jake Markel, Vishal Mehta, Hanna Moon, Michaela Palmer, Sussy Pan, Jasmine Powell, Meredith Reid, Rebecca Taylor, Ben Thompson, McKinlee Ward, Yunhan Wei, and Margaret Wu. Ben Thompson will be making his third trip to the International Science and Engineering Fair having won either first or second in the regional fair for the last three years.
